The smart money is on

Bellingham Public Schools

Providing students with safe and educationally stimulating schools is core to The Bellingham Promise, the district’s strategic plan and our community’s commitment to Bellingham’s children.

Bellingham Public Schools will have an operations and technology levy on the upcoming special election ballot on Feb. 13, 2024. These levies would replace two voter-approved levies from 2020 that will expire soon. These levies pay for nearly 25 percent of the cost of educational services not adequately funded by the state.

Support our local schools!

Our schools cannot rely on the federal and state government to adequately fund critical school programs to support the staff and equipment our schools need. Therefore, school districts in our state ask local voters to approve levies to cover these costs.
